This is an original very large Antique oil Painting on canvas featuring a study of a famous Cocker Spaniel Show Dog in a Moorland Landscape by the specialist Irish artist W.M. Dade, dated 1935, in very good original condition, in it's original ornate gilt frame and matt, the painting is also titled on the matt "Melfort Mariner 1934 Champion" this may be reference to it's performance at Crufts dog show, overall size including frame approx. 28" x 24"
