    Description

The Gayoso House opened in Memphis Tennessee in 1842.
This structure burned in 1899 and reopened as the Gayoso Hotel upon reconstruction.
The hotel operated until 1948 when it was bought by the Goldmith Department Store and used for office space.
The Hotel was on Front Street facing the Mississippi river.
For your consideration is this punch ladle made the International Silver Company and has the Gayoso Hotel name on the handle.
It is marked International Silver Co. on the side of the handle.
The ladle is 16” long and has a double spout on the bowl
There is some ware on the label however it is in over all good vintage condition.
I gave this a light polish to make certain of the condition but it would benefit from a deep polish depending on the patina you desire.
It does have the small nicks and scratched expected on vintage institution silverware.
This is a buy it now listing.
    Thanks for looking.
