Description

This is a beautiful Antique English Tapestry textured hand painted Vase in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
High glazed burgundy color with embossed rope motifs above and below a ring of raised dots.
The vase is signed on the base with a belt mark and Tapesty in the center.
Textured finish is the result of the maker wrapping fabric around the vase when the clay was still wet and then removing the fabric, leaving the textured finish.
Measures approx. 8-3/4" tall by about 4" in diameter. c1880-1930.
